A Human Resources Intern will support the Human Resources Division in several disciplines such as compensation, employee benefits, recruiting and employee relations. We’re looking for someone who can develop core human resource skills that can be applied across the organization. In this position, you will be given the opportunity to take the skills you have acquired in school and apply them in a professional setting.

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Support record-keeping function, including creation and maintaining of personnel files
  • Assist with HRIS and compensation-related projects
  • Learn and assist with recruitment efforts including sourcing candidates using the Applicant Tracking System –iCIMS
    • Assist with process documentation for new iCIMS Applicant Tracking System
    • Conduct telephone screenings and references checks
    • Schedule and arrange interviews
    • Create structured interview guides
  • Research diversity, veteran and operations technician recruiting channels not currently being used.
  • Create a benefits/perks package marketing campaign for internal employees
  • Assist in employee events (i.e., Company picnic)
  • Provide Front Desk coverage when needed
  • Take on ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

·        High school diploma or equivalent.

·        Pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management or related field.

·        Strong communication skills; oral and written.

·        Self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

 

·        Technologically adept and advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.

·        Exceptional analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem solving skills.

·        Extremely detailed and accuracy oriented.
