    The senior recruiter position is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the cooperative.  This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing both traditional and innovative sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.

    Responsibilities

    • Facilitate and participate in the requisition and full-cycle recruiting process for the cooperative.
    • Develop and execute recruiting strategies for craft & trade and professional jobs.
    • Develop strategies in the recruiting and hiring process that are compliant and avoid legal challenges.
    • Interview and assess applicant qualification for positions.
    • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of the need.
    • Network to identify passive candidates through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees.
    • Develop a recruiting strategy that includes opportunities with colleges to develop a pipeline of resources key to the power industry (Technicians, Operators, Instrumentation, etc.)
    • Partner with hiring managers and Manager-Compensation & Projects to enhance accuracy in job descriptions
    • Administrative duties to include recordkeeping, compliance, and interview guide development and administrative management of the applicant tracking system.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications & Required skills:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field, plus 7 to 10 years of recruiting experience and/or                    training,or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Must be extremely organized, detailed and accuracy oriented.
    • Must be able to demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with daily assumptions.
    • Proven ability to build relationships and source candidates in both craft & trade and professional jobs.
    • Proven ability in multi-tasking and meeting deadlines.
    • Strong consultative and coaching skills with all levels of hiring managers and supervisors.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills and presentation skills.
    • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office products.

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience
    • iCIMS experience
    • PHR
