    A Compliance Analyst coordinates the implementation, administration and maintenance of AECC's and AECI's compliance service offerings to meet the organizations' legal and regulatory compliance obligations.     • Coordinates and oversees the documentation and review of corporate compliance activities and relevant business processes in compliance with applicable laws/regulations and internal programs and policies.
    • Develops and maintains effective service and support of internal collaboration by facilitating inter-divisional relationships, communication, and contact with relevant subject-matter experts and leadership and applicable external parties.
    • Collaborates with subject matter experts and functional area management to ensure adherence to applicable laws/regulations and that the compliance programs foster and support a corporate culture of compliance excellence, particularly through documentation of work processes and records management.
    • Documents and tracks resolution of compliance issues and risks. Serves as the liaison and coordinator for external reporting and assessment activities, including data submittals and managing audit coordination.
    • Interprets, guides and assists internal personnel with development or revisions of procedures, policies, protocols or operating guidelines to document compliance; and assists with developing and delivering compliance awareness training.
    • Evaluates existing processes and procedures, suggests improvements, and implements and maintains such improvements for corporate compliance activities, including but not limited to monitoring, reviewing, and assessing new and existing regulations to understand the effects to the organization.

    Minimum Qualifications


    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar related field, plus 2 years regulatory compliance related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Two (2) or more years of experience in electric utility industry.
    • Familiarity with NERC standards and/or Department of Transportation Regulations.
    • Strong oral and written communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to function with constantly changing and multiple priorities.
    • Ability to work with departments throughout the organization, as well as regulators.
